Much like the lock and key that all “Star Trek” plot details were kept under during filming the first time around, the same goes for the untitled “Trek” sequel. We know which key players are back in place, alongside new additions Benedict Cumberbatch, as the unidentified villain, and actress Alice Eve, but we don’t know exactly how the sequel’s story will unfold.

When MTV News caught up with Eve recently during the press day for her upcoming period thriller “The Raven,” we attempted to find out a few more details about what character she might be playing in asking how long she spends in the makeup chair each day before filming.

“I’m a healthy amount of time in the makeup chair — though not as long as Spock,” Eve revealed. “We were filming until very late last night, and I know that’s all I can say. It’s a top-secret operation; it’s like a war.”

Although Eve is new to the “Trek” family, two of her co-stars are very familiar faces, Cumberbatch and Simon Pegg, with whom Eve worked on “Starter for 10″ and “Big Nothing,” respectively. When asked how the reunion has been, Eve broke out into a wide grin, saying, “Both of them I’ve worked with before, and it’s a true, true pleasure to see them again. Really fun.”

Eve went on to tease that her fans will be surprised by “a few things” about her performance in the film and re-emphasized the fact that she’s having a blast on set. “I’m having a lot of fun, and it’s a very special experience to be on J.J.’s [Abrams] movies,” she said. “He’s a real good leader.”

The British beauty has equated the atmosphere on set with going to camp or school. “When there’s a group of people who you can spend time with and work with and get to know, a real good experience, it’s kind of like going back to university or something, when everyone has got the same objective,” Eve told MTV News. “There’s a lot of energy, and it’s a nice thing to be a part of that group. That’s the thing that excites me most about it. Obviously, there is a huge legacy there with ‘Star Trek’ and the fanatics, so hopefully they’ll be satisfied.”

Additional film stills are being released ahead of the Spring premiere of, Men In Black III which Ms. Alice Eve will be starring in as Young Agent Oh! So far there’s only one still but hopefully as time goes on leading up to the May 3D Premiere more will be released featuring Alice. So make sure you check it out in the gallery!

Alice came in on Virgina Media’s countdown, of 20 Faces to Watch in 2012, at No. 5! HEre’s what they had to say about the Brit Beauty.

The Brit Bombshell has been orbiting planet Hollywood for years, with supporting turns in Entourage and Sex And The City 2, while she narrowly missed out on the role of Emma Frost in X-Men: First Class. Expect Eve to finally go supernova this year with key roles in dark gothic thriller The Raven, indie-dramedy Decoding Annie Parker, and – oh yes – mega-blockbuster Men In Black III.

We have a long wait ahead of us before J.J. Abrams’ “Star Trek” sequel hits theaters, but in recent weeks, the agony of the film’s 2013 release has been made less so with the news that Benedict Cumberbatch has joined the film as its chief villain.

Although Cumberbatch is relatively new to audiences, via “Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy” and “War Horse” this year, he’s a well-known actor in the U.K. and already has legions of fans. One of those fans is “Trek” co-star Alice Eve, who worked with Cumberbatch a few years back in the well-received British comedy “Starter for 10.”

Here’s the latest on the Alice front. As per Deadline Hollywood…

EXCLUSIVE: She’s Out Of My League star Alice Eve has been tapped for a four-episode arc on the upcoming final season of the HBO comedy series Entourage. In a role created for her, she will play a journalist assigned to write a profile piece on Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier) who subsequently becomes a possible love interest for the actor. Brit Eve, repped by UTA, U.K’s ARG and Untitled, recently wrapped Men in Black III and next stars in Rogue Pictures’ The Raven and Lionsgate’s ATM.

You can rest assured that Adoring Alice Eve will be providing screencaps of her appearances.

Although Alice’s name is the only one attached to the drama-thriller currently, Dolly Dimple has officially moved into pre-production casting stages. Written by Glenn Porter and directed by Mark Pellington “Dolly Dimple” is expected to be released in late 2011 or sometime 2012.

Alice’s involvement with the project has yet to be confirmed but Internet Movie Database has Alice slated to play “Katie Masters.” Fans should be advised IMDB is not an official website but user updated so take the information with caution, nothing is set in stone yet.

A struggling young writer finds the seemingly abandoned stories of a little girl and publishes them as her own work to much acclaim. She comes under the scrutiny of a mysterious man who claims to be the little girl’s father, and rather than risk being revealed as a plagiarist, becomes his pawn in an enigmatic and dangerous life-threatening journey.
