Today, October 26th marks the release date of “Sex and the City 2″ on DVD and Blu-ray! Screen captures from the film will be added shortly!

Two years have passed since Carrie Bradshaw finally bagged John “Mr. Big” Preston, the man she was always meant to be with. Just as her friend Charlotte must deal with her young daughter’s “terrible two’s”, Carrie must deal with her relationship taking a turn for the worse – Big likes to watch old black-and-white movies on TV and eat take-out food, which prevents Carrie from feeling like the free-wheeling party girl she used to be. Meanwhile, Miranda copes with a new boss that can’t handle an intelligent, powerful woman, and Samantha works a public relations angle that gets the fashionable foursome an all-expense-paid trip to Abu Dhabi.

I’ve added approximately 195 screen captures from the 2010 romantic-comedy, “Sex and the City 2″. Although Alice had only a small part in the film, she was fantastic! Sex and the City 2 has been announced for a DVD and Blu-ray release on October 26. The standard DVD will be priced at $28.98 SRP while the Blu-ray, which also includes a copy of the standard DVD and a Digital Copy of the film, will be priced at $35.99 SRP. The film stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon and Chris Noth.

The fun, the fashion, the friendship: Sex and the City 2 brings it all back and more as Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Samantha (Kim Cattrall), Charlotte (Kristin Davis) and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) come together to take another bite out of The Big Apple – and beyond – in a hilarious sequel. What happens after you say “I do?” Life is everything the ladies ever wished it would be, but it wouldn’t be Sex in the City if life didn’t hold a few more surprises. After all, sometimes you just have to get away with the girls.

Hailed as Britain’s brightest new star in Hollywood, Alice Eve has, though, won only disdain from one of her British peers. Ruth Wilson, who appeared to great acclaim in a BBC adaptation of Jane Eyre, has criticised the 28-year-old daughter of the actors Trevor Eve and Sharon Maughan for exposing herself in Sex and the City 2, in which she plays a bra-less nanny.

“I wouldn’t want to be like her,” Wilson said at the Evian-sponsored Bafta television awards in London. “She has been all quiet here and then she suddenly pops up in Sex and the City and gets her tits out. In her scenes, she runs towards the girls and her tits are flopping about everywhere, and there’s another where her T-shirt gets wet and it goes see-through, showing everything. I would never do any nudity in a film. Why would I need to? It’s gratuitous and unnecessary. You don’t need to get naked to be recognised.”

The Olivier award-winning actress, 28, plans to pursue a film career after completing her run in Through a Glass Darkly at the Almeida theatre in the capital. She adds of Sex and the City 2:

“It is a grotesque movie made by men for women; I don’t get why girls like it. Those four characters are rancid. You won’t find me doing a movie like that. I would rather go for more intelligent parts.”

Alice Eve has compared working on Sex and the City to seeing the Beatles at their peak. The British actress, who is the daughter of Trevor Eve, appears in the sequel alongside Sarah Jessica Parker, Sam Cattrall, Kristen Davis and Cynthia Nixon as Charlotte’s nanny. And Eve admits that the ladies were great to work with and she enjoyed being a part of the movie.

She told Metro: “Working with the girls was like seeing The Beatles at the height of their fame. It was amazing to be there. After a few days you feel comfortable because they’re so nice. They do hang out and they chatted to me and were girly. Sarah Jessica [Parker] was very involved in my look and very generous as a producer.”

This summer is a busy few weeks for the actress as she also had the UK release of her new comedy She’s Out of My League last week. Plus she may also be set to star alongside David Tennant and Kelly MacDonald, who have been linked to the project, in The Decoy Bride. (Source)

British actress Alice Eve is creating a stir as Charlotte’s bra-eschewing nanny in Sex And The City 2. In the pantheon of pop culture, a few (in)famous nannies spring to mind: Julie Andrews’s starchy-but-sweet Mary Poppins; Fran Drescher’s nasal-voiced Noo Yawk Nanny; Daisy Wright, the comely British nanny who came between Jude Law and Sienna Miller. And after this summer, no doubt Alice Eve’s Irish Nanny Erin, Charlotte’s child minder in Sex and the City 2, will join the celebrated caregiver club — in no small part thanks to the fact Nanny Erin isn’t a big fan of above-the-belt undergarments. Eve, 28, gamely cast off the underwire for the role. “Might as well do it now rather than later,” after having children, says Eve, 28. So even if Nanny Erin’s simple J.Crew and Tod’s wardrobe doesn’t have quite the fashion impact of her boss’s clothes, her style does leave a certain, um, impression.

SATC2 is the British Eve’s second American movie, after She’s Out of My League (released in March). Eve says she’s “tripping” she’s involved in the Sex sequel. Two years ago, she and her best friend queued up around the block of a London theater for an hour to watch the original, Cosmo in hand, “the whole ceremony.” (Before Eve worked on Broadway in 2007, Sex and the City the TV series was what she knew of New York.) Now, she’s on the other side of the velvet rope, walking red carpets in L’Wren Scott with the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker.

Eve shot scenes with all four stars over three weeks in New York. That first day of filming, “it was like we were starting a new day of school and I was wondering how the girls were going to be,” Eve recalls. “I was so lucky how nice they were. They kind of went out of their way to be nice.”

Eve, an Oxford graduate with a résumé that includes Oscar Wilde and Tom Stoppard, landed the role of the nanny who, as she puts it, “spices things up a bit” the old-fashioned way, through a 5- to 10-minute audition tape shot in an L.A. loft on her agent’s camera. Director Michael Patrick King “watched it and he liked it.”

“I have a very strong maternal instinct which I don’t think was missed” by King, Eve adds. “I have a brother who was born 12 years after me. I feel like I’m the only person in his life who tells him to study.” She’s in a two-year relationship with Adam O’Riordan, a poet and Oxford classmate — not that she’s thinking of children quite yet.

Working with the four little girls (two sets of twins) cast as her charges was an “intense experience,” Eve says. “It was very difficult to explain to them that their mom is just behind the camera. So it’s tough.”

But not as tough as negotiating with a dog, which was part of the cast of She’s Out of My League, about a siren (Eve) who falls for a schlub. The pooch was “a diva,” Eve recalls. She would sit slumped in the corner with her head on her paws, “that cute Beethovenposition,” and essentially scowl “I’m done with this.” The trainer would have to coax her back on set. “We’d all try but were like idiots crowding around the dog,” Eve says.

With two frothy rom-coms this year alone to her credit, Eve says she “feels like I’m showing my range.” She’s still at the stage in her career when “if people are watching my work, whatever it is, I’m thrilled,” but she’s hopeful that SATC2 will spark more primo parts.

“A lot of times I’ll go out for a great movie, and they’ll say they loved the audition but want someone who’s got more of a profile. So if (SATC2) helps me get those jobs, then I’m happy.”

British actress Alice Eve was left in excruciating pain on the set of Sex And The City 2 – because she was forced to wear high-heeled shoes every day. The blonde beauty was thrilled to land a role as a nanny working for Kristin Davis’ character in the highly-anticipated sequel, but didn’t realise the cast’s dedication to fashion until she arrived on-set.

Eve was convinced she would be able to remove her painful designer shoes in-between takes – but was shocked to see the main castmembers kept theirs on at all times.

She tells Britain’s Daily Record, “They were those shoes, the ones with the really high heels, all day long. I kept expecting them to put on Uggs (flat, sheepskin boots) at some point between takes like everyone else. But no.”

And Eve was left in agony after trying out a runway-style walk in her high heels: “I had watched models walking down the catwalk. It looks incredibly easy, just like tennis looks easy. So I copied them – and I had the sorest legs the next day.”

British actress Alice Eve has blasted rumours the Sex and the City cast hate each other – insisting they all sit together and chat in-between takes.

The foursome, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, have long been dogged by allegations of in-fighting on the set of both the TV series and the two big screen outings – claims all the actresses have denied.

And Eve, who plays an Irish nanny in the upcoming second movie, has confirmed the stars are on friendly terms – and couldn’t believe how welcoming they were to her.

She tells Britain’s Daily Record, “They all sat in the same room between takes, discussing their trainers, their families and what they wanted for lunch – pasta or salad.

“They hung out with me and I wasn’t expecting them to. Nothing can quite prepare you for meeting those four women and working with them.

“Someone said, ‘Is it like the Godfather for women?’ I think that’s probably true. I grew up with Sex and the City, so it was really amazing for me to be among those women. Those are some pretty powerful women and I learned a lot. They were lovely women.”
