A picture of John Cusack as Edgar Allen Poe in V for Vendetta director James McTeigue‘s The Raven has surfaced on Styd marking the official beginning of filming.
As Poe, Cusack teams up with a detective hunting a serial killer who dispatches his victims in ways which echo the famous Baltimore horror writer’s stories.
The Raven is tentatively scheduled for a 2011 release and co-stars Alice Eve and Luke Evans. It was scripted by Ben Livingston and Hannah Shakespeare.
